Grades runs in the background on your PC or Mac, and polls your school's grade
website for new grades every 15 minutes. It utilizes the same secure
encryption technology (SSL) as your web browser uses to make sure that
the password you use to access your grades is seen only by the server
provided by your school.
As
soon as new grades are discovered, Mobile Grades will display a
notification, allowing you to restore the program, and see the new
grades you've earned.
This functionality is provided entirely free of charge. All we ask, is that if the program fails to log in, fails to list your terms, or fails to list correct grades while the grade website provided by your school is functioning properly, please notify us so that we can fix the problems before it affects others.

Additionally,
you can enable
the "Forward new grades to my mobile phone" option. This feature sends
your newly available grades to our secure text messaging gateway, which
forwards them to your mobile phone. This feature requires purchasing a
service key from our website. Your service key is used to make sure
your grades are sent only to you.
